These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FridgeScan website and services (the "Service"), operated by Lei Wang, an individual sole proprietor ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FridgeScan is a web application that helps home cooks decide what to cook. Users may upload or photograph the contents of their refrigerator; our Service uses artificial intelligence to detect food ingredients and recommends Chinese home-style recipes that can typically be prepared within 30 minutes. The Service also includes a recipe library, premium recipe collections, a weekly meal plan feature, and a community message board.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
The Service does not currently require you to create an account. Free users receive a limited number of AI fridge scans. Premium access is granted to the browser used to complete a purchase. We are not responsible for loss of access resulting from clearing browser data, changing devices, or using private browsing modes.
You may request a full refund within 7 days of an initial payment or renewal by emailing storyseven@outlook.com. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We may decline refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, such as repeated subscription-and-refund cycles. See our Refund Policy for details.

You retain ownership of any images or text you submit. By submitting content to the community board, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and feature that content on the Service and in our marketing, subject to our moderation. You are solely responsible for content you submit.
Ingredient detection and recipe recommendations are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Recipes are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, checking for allergens, and ensuring that food is properly and safely prepared and cooked. Always use your own judgment regarding food safety, dietary restrictions, and allergies.
Recipes tagged as "slimming", "postpartum", "fitness", or similar are general informational content only. They do not constitute medical, nutritional, or healthcare advice. Consult a qualified professional before making dietary changes, particularly if you are pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, or have specific dietary needs.
The Service, including its design, software, text, and recipe compilations, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the Service or its content without our prior written permission.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Netlify (hosting) and AI model providers (ingredient recognition), and Creem (payments). We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that AI results will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts located in Zhejiang, China, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
